About the Role

The Marketplace team at Wavemaker is responsible for delivering exceptional implementation planning and buying services, spanning both offline and digital media types. We leverage data, technology, and automation to ensure client campaigns are executed and amplified effectively, efficiently, and with a forward-thinking approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of the media landscape, including current consumer insights and trends.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality implementation planning and buying services.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges in media buying and planning.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Drive business results for clients by identifying and articulating what's working and why.
What Success Looks Like

In 3 months:

  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Wavemaker's agency and group proposition, core Marketplace processes, and our way of working.
  • Immerse yourself in the team, understanding the status of all active and upcoming campaigns.

In 6 months:

  • Demonstrate ability to deliver on all aspects of the role in an efficient, effective, and proactive manner.
  • Owning Marketplace processes for specific allocated clients/campaigns, ensuring regular updates on campaign performance.
  • Strengthen key stakeholder relationships to deliver great teamwork consistently.

In 12 months:

  • Taking on greater ownership for campaigns and clients, with increased responsibility and volume.
  • Building strong relationships with publishers, representing Wavemaker appropriately, and ensuring high-quality campaign delivery.
