Water Planning JobThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the field of water planning. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil or mechanical engineering and a passion for working with water resources.About the RoleThe role involves working closely with operations to develop and maintain infrastructure planning models, associated research and investigations, and forward planning strategies. This requires a high level of technical expertise and ability to work independently.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure planning models using Excel, AutoCAD, ArcGIS/ArcMAP, and other related computer programs.
  • Conduct research and investigations to inform planning decisions.
  • Prepare forward planning strategies to meet the needs of the community.
  • Collaborate with operations to implement plans and ensure effective outcomes.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong technical skills in Excel, AutoCAD, ArcGIS/ArcMAP, and other related computer programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
