Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with customer contractual obligations and service standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing operational activities, processes, and systems to meet customer expectations
  • Coaching and developing a team to achieve high levels of safety, compliance, accuracy, productivity, and performance
  • Reviewing performance reports to identify areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives
  • Coordinating vehicle and equipment maintenance, including proactive management of maintenance schedules
  • Liaising with customers to ensure service expectations are met through continuous feedback mechanisms
The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager who can lead our team to success. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in leading operations within a 3PL environment
  • Strong technical ability and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Applied understanding of Chain of Responsibility, planning, and allocation/manifesting
  • Experience in coaching, developing, and engaging an operational team
  • Sound troubleshooting/problem-solving capability, commercial acumen, and numeracy skills
