About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as an Optical Dispenser and Keyholder. This is a full-time permanent position that requires a strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing lenses and frames per prescriptions provided by our Optometrists, as well as building meaningful relationships with our clientele to encourage repeat business.
  • This role also involves assisting with opening and closing procedures, including working a Sunday - Thursday roster.
About You
  • To be successful in this role, you will need at least 1 year of experience in optical or 2 years of retail sales experience. Previous experience with store opening/closing duties is also highly desirable.
  • You will need to possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to build trusting and respectful relationships with our clients.
  • A positive and friendly manner is essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A certificate IV in Optical Dispensing is highly desired but not essential.
