Prosecutorial Excellence Opportunities
Making a meaningful impact through the pursuit of justice is at the heart of this role. As a Senior Prosecutor, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality legal services to support the Workers' Compensation Regulator.
This includes:
- Expert Legal Advice: Assessing briefs of evidence and providing sound, strategic legal advice to investigators and the Regulator.
- Courtroom Advocacy: Preparing and managing matters for trial, sentence, or appeal, and advocating in court or instructing external counsel on complex prosecutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaising with stakeholders across the justice system, including courts, witnesses, and defence representatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Supporting continuous improvement through training and collaboration with your colleagues.
This role also involves reviewing confronting or distressing content. You will be supported with professional supervision and access to wellbeing services.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Admission, or eligibility for admission, as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:
