Software Test Manager Job Description

The role of Software Test Manager is to lead a team of test engineers in the verification and validation of safety-critical systems. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and methodologies aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust test strategies and plans that align with industry standards.
  • Oversee the design, automation, execution, and defect management of embedded and application-level software tests.
  • Ensure the validation of safety-related software components, including hardware-software integration testing.
  • Implement test automation tools, continuous integration/continuous testing pipelines, and metrics dashboards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Software Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in software testing, including 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Solid experience in testing safety-critical systems in line with industry standards.
  • Extensive experience in embedded systems, control software, and safety validation.
  • Strong background in test management and requirement tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of model-based testing – HIL and SIL testing environments.
