Senior Policy Advisor Role

This is a full-time position that involves working with the Policy Director to develop and implement policy initiatives.

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced policy expert who can facilitate the development, analysis, communication, and execution of important policy issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Researching and analyzing emerging policy issues
  • Leading advocacy initiatives and providing insightful analysis for submissions and communications
  • Providing administrative support to the policy section, coordinating projects with other staff, and maintaining internal records
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for members, answering questions and coordinating committee activities

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have well-developed professional skills and experience in a professional team, ideally within government, policy, or a large corporation. You should have strong relationship management abilities and be a competent user of MS Office software. A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Agriculture, Law, Economics, or Science is essential, along with a sound understanding of the agriculture sector.
