About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the position of Senior Account Executive and oversee a portfolio of government accounts.

This key role involves developing trusted partnerships with clients, working closely with dedicated customer success managers, and collaborating as part of a team to drive renewals, upsell opportunities, and secure new business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for growing a portfolio of government accounts
  • Drive new business while partnering with customer success managers on renewals and adoption
  • Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders and mobilisers
  • Lead proposal development and deliver compelling solutions tailored to customers' needs
  • Collaborate with marketing, BDRs, partnerships, and alliances to generate and advance pipeline opportunities
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships, including VAR agreements, in conjunction with customer success managers
  • Represent the company at conferences, webinars, and industry events
  • Stay informed about market trends and develop expertise in our technology and customer use cases
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of experience closing enterprise sales, preferably in SaaS, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience managing 50+ accounts, balancing new business growth
  • Ability to engage with government executives and influence key decisions at state and federal levels
  • Proven track record in upselling, new logo acquisition, and customer expansion
  • Skilled in value-based selling, building ROI-driven business cases
  • Strong collaborator, able to align internal and partner stakeholders
  • Experience with proposals, quoting, and complex sales cycles
  • Salesforce experience is beneficial; knowledge of aerial imagery or location content is desirable
