The Role of a Heavy Equipment Technician in our St Ives Depot

  • Service and repair a wide range of heavy equipment and tools, ensuring their quality, safety, and reliability.
  • Maintain maximum workshop productivity while meeting company targets.
  • Advise on product defects related to health and safety and equipment reliability.
  • Update service records on our internal computerised system (Spanner/DSP) and daily worksheets.
  • Champion HSEQ and promote teamwork within the depot.

What Does it Take to Succeed as a Heavy Equipment Technician?

  • Experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • A positive attitude, solution-driven mindset, and good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and numerical skills are essential.

Our Salary Package

We offer an estimated annual salary of £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience, plus benefits that include access to exclusive discounts, a holiday buy scheme, life assurance, and more.
