As a valued member of our national Engineering/ICT team, you will be the right-hand person to two outstanding patent attorneys, assisting with the protection, commercialisation, and enforcement of intellectual property.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and proof-reading various correspondence and documents;
  • Uploading documents and maintaining accurate information on client portals;
  • Liaising with IP Australia for document productions, lodgements, and amendments;
  • General administration (e.g. diary management, arranging travel and meetings).

Who you are?

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

  • Are an experienced legal secretary/administrator/'career' paralegal in any area of law, including intellectual property (preferably patents but open to those with non-patents experience who are interested in patents);
  • Are highly competent in Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook) with a fast typing/accuracy (minimum 55wpm+);
  • Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and are a proven team player;
  • Have high accuracy and effectively meet deadlines;
  • Are committed to furthering your own success to the maximum with a 1st-class employer of choice.
