Aviation Governance Specialist Opportunity

This pivotal role will play a key part in driving governance, stakeholder accountability, and performance across critical airside operations and systems.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in developing and leading licensing or access agreements in a high-risk, customer-focused operational environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Aviation Operations, ground handling and turnaround activities
  • ICAM Lead Investigator
  • IATA Ground Operations (highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations, ICAO Annexes and IATA IGOM
  • Experience in Aviation Safety Management Systems and incident investigations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills within complex operational settings
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements
  • Proficiency in report writing, performance monitoring and continuous improvement programs

The ideal candidate will have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications and attributes are highly desirable for this role:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Aviation Operations, ground handling, or related fields
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as IATA Ground Operations or ICAM Lead Investigator
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
