Supply Chain Professional

Key Responsibilities:
">- Identify and evaluate suppliers that meet quality, cost, and reliability requirements to develop strong relationships.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing and delivery schedules, to secure the best deals while ensuring contracts meet legal and company standards.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures for all procured items to ensure they meet or exceed quality standards and customer expectations.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to anticipate potential issues with product availability or price fluctuations and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure there is an adequate supply of products to meet customer demands without resulting in excess stock or shortages.
- Evaluate opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement process without compromising quality or service.
- Regularly evaluate supplier performance to ensure they continue to meet required standards of quality, delivery, and service, addressing any issues promptly.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, submitting regular reports on procurement activity and supply chain performance to upper management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) for effective negotiation and relationship building with suppliers and team members.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong team-building skills to resolve conflicts, manage diverse teams, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Proven decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical abilities, especially related to procurement strategies and vendor evaluation.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all procurement activities.
Work Environment:
">- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Benefits:
">- $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per month
