About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Supply Planner who will partner with suppliers and colleagues across Grocery Business Units. This role involves identifying opportunities to improve the end-to-end supply chain.

You'll:

  • Collaborate with logistics teams to deliver supply performance KPIs and prepare contingency plans in case of unknown supply delays
  • Manage a growing business function with significant spend, delivering targeted reductions year on year
  • Influence and work cross-functionally with distribution centres, transport providers, and supply chain operations to improve service levels
  • Proactively seek and identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end supply chain and manage initiatives
  • Present opportunities to improve the end-to-end supply chain
  • Deliver the demand plan for various suppliers to ensure the right product, time, and place

About You and Your Skills

You'll develop innovative solutions to solve supply & demand network operational issues across distribution and transport. This is an exciting opportunity with genuine impact. You'll also have:

  • Demonstrated experience in Supply Planning, developed planning and analytical skills
  • Proven understanding of Supply Chain finance
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, focusing on process optimisation and cost reduction
  • Advanced problem-solving capability, questioning processes and mitigating supply risks
  • Experience in managing supply chain network models and system levers to achieve supply metrics
  • Negotiation, procurement, and contract management skills, including setting up new supply agreements
  • High proficiency in communication, catering for various stakeholder levels
