Job Overview

Machines operators play a pivotal role in our food production team at the Blacktown Factory. We are seeking long-term casual employees with opportunities to transition into full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery such as vacuum sealing and thermoforming equipment
  • Pack meat and bone products efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute to chiller and freezer work
  • Pick orders accurately
  • Receive deliveries promptly
  • Clean and sanitise equipment and workspace effectively

Requirements:

  • Essential experience working with machinery is necessary
  • Able to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferring a forklift license but not mandatory
  • Comfortable working in cold storage environments (fridge and freezer)
  • Familiarity with WHS protocols in medium-high risk environments
  • Ability to act independently with initiative and follow instructions
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Good understanding of food handling practices
  • Able to lift up to 20kg
  • Reliability is key

Working Conditions:

The positions are available 4-5 days a week and are ongoing roles, involving shift work Monday to Friday with possible overtime.
