**Responsibilities**:

- Be able to use: guillotine and press break machines
- Set up machines for production cycles, including calibration and cleaning.
- Control and adjust machine settings, such as speed, product variation for optimal performance.
- Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.
- Inspect parts with precision using measuring tools.
- Periodically test machine operations.
- Troubleshoot and address issues during the shift and report to supervisor.
- Check output for machine-related mistakes or flaws.
- Maintain records of approved and defective units or final products.
- Keep detailed activity logs.
- when not machine operating, miscellaneous entry level welding work required, and training provided.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a machine operator in the engineering industry.
- Welding background would be desirable.
- Working knowledge of diverse machinery and measurement tools
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations, including constant use of protective gear.
- Ability to follow direction of the supervisor.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
