MOGAS, a Flowserve company, is seeking a Machine Operator to support efficient production processes by operating and maintaining a range of manual and computerized equipment.

The role involves equipment installation, setup, visual inspection, and routine maintenance, with strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards. The successful candidate will work hands-on with tools and machinery while collaborating with team members to ensure smooth production flow and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Role Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machines and equipment, both manual and computerized, to support efficient production processes. This role includes tasks such as installation, setup, visual inspection, and routine maintenance, while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards. The position requires hands-on use of tools and equipment, as well as collaboration with team members to ensure smooth production flow and problem-solving when technical issues arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain machines and equipment in accordance with company standards.
  • Perform installation, setup, and visual inspection of machines and tools.
  • Move materials and parts to and from work areas using forklifts or power lift trucks.
  • Ensure smooth flow of production by monitoring and addressing operational needs.
  • Assist in solving production and technical problems.
  • Read and follow route sheets, blueprints, and other work instructions.
  • Comply with all established safety procedures, policies, and operational guidelines.
  • Train and support new machine operators as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with computerized systems.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Basic shop math skills.
  • Forklift certification.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Few years of relevant experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or related environment.
  • Experience in machining or a similar technical field.
  • Proficiency in using and interpreting precision measuring instruments such as calipers, verniers and micrometers, etc.
