As a forward-thinking nursing executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of surgical and ICU services.
About the Position- This key leadership position oversees the strategic and operational management of Surgical Services and the Intensive Care Unit, delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centred care across perioperative, surgical ward and ICU services.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and executive leaders drives innovation, enhances service delivery, and optimises workforce capability.
The successful candidate will be accountable for operational and professional leadership, management, and delivery of nursing services within the Bundaberg Hospital and Wide Bay Health Service area.
- This includes Acute Surgical, Peri Operative services, Outpatients, and ICU.
- The role also requires expert professional and leadership for the delivery of high-quality, evidence-informed nursing standards within the health service.
The successful leader will lead the ongoing design, planning, development, implementation and management of the service, providing high-level advice to other Nursing Directors and executive team members.
