About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team at DSI Underground. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and assistance to our Finance Manager and Senior Financial Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and sales reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date fixed asset registers, including capital expenditure requests and monthly reviews.
  • Reconcile inter-company balances and prepare monthly reporting packs.
  • Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc compliance requirements, such as ABS surveys, Payment Times Reporting, and tax matters.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business, with a strong understanding of IFRS requirements.
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a Finance team and multitask.
