About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Associate Director to join our team at Westpac Institutional Banking. As a key member of our Global Transaction Services team, you will play a pivotal leadership role in implementing and performing risk in change management and monitoring obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support consistent implementation and embedding of risk management frameworks, policies, and controls across the Global Transaction Services business and value chain.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the GTS value chain on all incidents and risk and control matters to develop pragmatic solutions.
  • Drive a strong risk culture that embodies our ethics and integrity, balancing commercial and customer needs.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in risk management, with a strong background in banking or financial services.
  • Strong relationship building, teamwork, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and outcomes-focused individual with problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
