Electrical Training Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Electrical Trainer to deliver high-quality vocational education and training in electrical programs. The successful candidate will support students to achieve their learning and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and assess vocational electrical training using diverse adult learning methods across various learning environments.
  • Support student success through engagement strategies, accurate record-keeping, and pastoral care, including follow-up on absences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and industry in curriculum development, validation, moderation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance in specialist areas, including mentoring staff and advising on student and employer training needs.
  • Stay current with industry and educational trends, integrating new technologies and practices into teaching and learning.
  • Promote programs and build partnerships through community engagement, marketing, and facilitating vocational placements.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Victorian Electrical A Grade License.
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated teaching experience and understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and ICT skills.
  • Ability to innovate and adapt to emerging needs.
  • Knowledge of VET compliance and quality assurance frameworks.
