Senior HSE Advisor Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our team for a tunnel lining construction project in remote NSW.

The successful candidate will work on a 2/1 FIFO roster, flying from Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney, and will report directly to the Project Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
  • Develop and implement effective safety procedures and protocols
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and hazards identified
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure a safe working environment

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science)
  • Proven experience as an HSE Advisor in a similar industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
