Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor

 

As a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting our projects to achieve a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and review Project HSE Management Plans, including Emergency Response Plans.
  • Deliver corporate and client HSE programs.
  • Create project-specific toolbox topics to address local HSE issues and facilitate toolbox meetings.
  • Coach and influence site workers and management on hazard and risk management tools and reinforce safe behaviors.
  • Conduct and support incident investigations, identify causal factors, and champion HSE inspections with site personnel.
  • Support injury management on site, including monitoring injured persons' return to work plans.
  • Complete HSE reports and build effective working relationships with all stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a HSE Advisor on high-risk civil projects.
  • Tunnel construction and/or FRP project experience is highly advantageous.
  • Experience working on FIFO or DIDO projects for a contractor is preferred.
  • Formal OSH qualifications, such as Cert IV or Diploma, are desirable.
  • Cert 4 in Training and Assessment is also required.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with all stakeholder levels.
