Key competencies include:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Laboratory Haematology and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Clinical Haematology.
- Demonstrated commitment to fundamental, applied or clinical research and/or medical education and staff training.
