Manufacturing Support Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your skills and experience in manufacturing support. As a senior engineer, you will play a critical part in maintaining efficient engineering support for manufacturing and repair activities.

  • Maintaining Efficiency: You will be responsible for implementing day-to-day solutions to manufacturing/repair issues and process improvements, ensuring quality requirements are met.
  • Problem Solving: Develop solutions to identified manufacturing & repair problems, analyze and resolve complex manufacturing, quality, and compliance issues.
  • NPI Activities: Support new product introduction (NPI) activities and ensure a smooth transition into production.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure non-conforming reports (NCRs), corrective actions (CAPAs), concessions, and change notes are processed in a timely manner.
  • Process Improvement: Identify process solutions and create plans to coordinate activities, collaborate with other departments to resolve manufacturing challenges.

About the Role: As a Senior Manufacturing Support Engineer, you will be a key contributor to maintaining efficient engineering support for manufacturing and repair activities. Your expertise and experience will enable you to make significant contributions to the team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide the first point of contact for manufacturing & repair on yield, quality, and throughput issues.
  2. Develop solutions to identified manufacturing & repair problems.
  3. Support NPI activities and ensure a smooth transition into production.
  4. Analyze and resolve complex manufacturing, quality, and compliance issues.
  5. Ensure NCRs, CAPAs, concessions, and change notes are processed in a timely manner.
  6. Identify process solutions and create plans to coordinate activities.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to resolve manufacturing challenges.
