Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Lounge Attendants. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accuracy while ordering and delivering food and beverage orders.
  • Clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining a clean and tidy service area.
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene in food handling and presentation.
  • Explaining the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences, and providing timely assistance when recommending beverages.
  • Promoting a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a strong desire to provide total customer satisfaction.
  • Initiative to ensure interactions with customers are positive, intuitive and efficient.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
  • Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
  • A high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
  • The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • A positive team player and guest-centric mindset.
  • Full working rights within Australia.

You will be engaged to work under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award [MA000009]. Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Federal Police check at their own cost, which will be reimbursed once approved, in order to gain ASIC certification.
