About Us

  • We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our team in Mount Isa, Queensland.
  • This is a permanent full-time position located on the First Floor of C Block, Mount Isa Hospital.

Job Description

  • As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our 12-bed Surgical Ward.
  • You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of surgical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of patient care
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary degree qualification in Nursing or a related field
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
