Job Title: Process Operations Specialist

This is a site-based role for an operations specialist to drive short-term planning and execution to deliver efficient and sustainable production outcomes across steady state operations and new mine ramp-ups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement weekly and daily production plans aligned to monthly schedules to meet operational KPIs.
  • Design and optimize stope and development parameters, including drill and blast plans.
  • Monitor and improve operational metrics (tonnes, grade, dilution, recovery) through data analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support short-term scheduling, ventilation planning, and shift execution to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with Technical Services, Geology, and Operations teams to achieve production goals.
  • Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and investigate incidents to maintain a safe working environment.
About You:
  • Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in mine planning software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with site crews and supervisors.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and their application on mine sites.
