Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mental Health professional to lead our Community Mental Health team in Maryborough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver community-based assessment, treatment and support services to adults (25-65 years) experiencing complex mental health disorders.
  • Ensure that families and carers are included and well-supported in care planning processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure high-quality care is provided to patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with post-graduate qualifications in Mental Health.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal relationships underpinned by sound clinical knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to manage caseloads while contributing positively as part of a close-knit regional team.
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail to stay on top of varied workloads.
