Production Operator Key Role
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate machinery to cut and bend steel into structural shapes, following work orders, drawings, templates or layouts as relevant to the machine.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments when necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, reporting any faults to your supervisor immediately.
- Conduct pre-start checks on all equipment and machinery before use, verifying proper functioning.
- Assess product quality regularly to guarantee conformance with production requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance of machines and work areas, ensuring a safe working environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Physically fit and capable of operating heavy machinery.
- A genuine interest in machinery and production processes.
- Commitment to adhering to safety procedures at all times.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and information exchange.
