The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to promote the sales of our Light Construction Equipment range in the Newcastle region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with existing customers within the territory
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through daily cold calling and prospecting
  • Participate in general marketing, trade shows, and networking activities
  • Provide accurate reporting of current and prospective activity, growth potential, market, and competitor analysis
  • Meet market share expectations and other KPIs provided by Management

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated sales experience and success
  • Previous employment in a similar position or industry is preferred but not essential
  • Genuine desire to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction through positive relationships with customers
  • Motivated and competitive drive to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strategic and analytical capability to assess value, including the use of CRM
  • Confident, courteous, and professional communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
  • Current driver's license
