About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Sealed Air. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving maximum sales at the highest margin returns, while maintaining and growing a designated customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales and Revenue Growth: Achieve maximum sales at the highest margin returns by developing and executing sales strategies that meet or exceed sales targets.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Service, maintain, and grow a designated customer base by building strong relationships with key decision-makers and identifying new business opportunities.
  3. Business Development: Develop new business sales from current and adjacent markets by identifying and pursuing new opportunities that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  4. Planning and Execution: Plan daily, weekly, and annual objectives and activities to maximize customer contact and effectiveness.
  5. Communication and Presentation: Develop and deliver presentations to customers and coordinate training of customer personnel as needed.
  6. Inventory Management: Manage SEE inventory within company guidelines to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  7. Debt Collection and Compliance: Assist in the collection of outstanding debtors and enforce SEE trading terms to ensure timely payment.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Provide accurate and timely reports on sales performance, customer interactions, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrated sales experience, preferably in the packaging industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
  • Qualifications: Level of tertiary education in a related discipline, such as business or marketing, and relevant certifications or training in sales and customer service.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other sales and customer relationship management tools.
  • Travel: Ability to travel for short periods of time, as required, to meet with customers and attend sales meetings.
