Job Description

The role offers an opportunity to elevate your commercial career by providing hands-on support in contract administration, entitlements, claims, and disputes. This will involve managing commercial and contractual risk across projects delivered under the Government Facilities Management Arrangement in South Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Support & Risk Management: Assist in reviewing and drafting contract terms, variations, extensions, and notices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with legal and business requirements.
  • Procurement & Subcontractor Engagement: Work closely with procurement and subcontract teams to establish agreements, manage downstream obligations, and report on emerging issues.
  • Contract Operations & Documentation: Maintain contract registers, portals, and correspondence, ensuring timely compliance with performance reporting, audits, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Financial & Performance Insight: Interpret financial and KPI models to support commercial decision-making and contribute to the development of operational contract documents during transitions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial or contract administration roles, ideally in infrastructure or services sectors.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration principles and systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify risks or opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills able to simplify complex contract terms into clear guidance.
