Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Care Provider to join our team. As a Disability Support Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Supporting individuals to participate in social and recreational activities such as going to appointments, swimming, and trips to the park.
  • Undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping, visiting friends and family.
  • Providing personal care and assistance with light domestic duties such as meal preparation.
  • Assisting individuals to communicate effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of disability support principles and practices.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of physical fitness and mobility.
  • First Aid Certification (required).
  • A Working with Children Check (required).
  • A National Police Certificate (required).
  • A Driver Licence (required).
