Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Fund Finance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our funds, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the Airtree fund financials, compliance and reporting functions
  • Manage the reporting requirements, regulatory compliance and corporate secretarial functions of the funds
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to elevate our systems and processes, as well as investigate new tools and platforms
  • Lead and develop a high performance Fund Finance team
  • Cashflow forecasting for all funds
  • Managing the year end audit process
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in a funds management environment, Private Equity or Venture Capital
  • Strong accounting and finance skills (CPA or CA or equivalent qualifications)
  • Experience within a funds management environment, Private Equity or Venture Capital is essential
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, partnership accounting, and venture capital operations
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience at creating, improving, monitoring and implementing new processes and continuous improvement projects
  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
