About the Role

Airtree Ventures is seeking a highly skilled Head of Fund Finance to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our funds, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of fund financials, compliance, and reporting functions
  • Manage reporting requirements, regulatory compliance, and corporate secretarial functions of the funds
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to elevate systems and processes
  • Lead and develop a high-performance Fund Finance team
  • Cashflow forecasting for all funds
  • Manage the year-end audit process

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in funds management, private equity, or venture capital
  • Strong accounting and finance skills, with CPA or CA or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience in fund structures, partnership accounting, and venture capital operations
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in creating, improving, monitoring, and implementing new processes and continuous improvement projects
  • Experience in leading and developing a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
