Head of Fund Finance Director

Airtree Ventures is seeking an experienced Head of Fund Finance to drive the financial operations of our funds.

The successful candidate will report to Helen Norton, Partner of Finance and Operations, and be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our 7 funds. This includes fund accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of fund financials, compliance and reporting functions
  • Managing reporting requirements, regulatory compliance and corporate secretarial functions of the funds
  • Driving continuous improvement projects to elevate systems and processes, as well as investigating new tools and platforms
  • Leading and developing a high-performance Fund Finance team
  • Cash flow forecasting for all funds
  • Managing the year-end audit process

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong accounting and finance background, with a minimum of 10 years' experience working in a funds management environment, preferably within Private Equity or Venture Capital. A deep understanding of fund structures, partnership accounting, and venture capital operations is essential.
