Job Description

This is a temporary role within the School Facilities Operations Team to deliver support and advisory services to Principals and Business Managers.

The team collaborates with Organisational Safety & Wellbeing to promote safe practices aligned with the department's current chemical management requirements and equipment use.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and advising state schools on evidence-based strategies to improve health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes for facilities staff.

  • Identify and advise state schools on evidence-based strategies to improve health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes
  • Provide advice on equipment, chemicals, and consumable items
  • Facilitate training programs to develop skills in relation to Health, Safety, and Wellness policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
  • Site visits to capture and maintain site measurement data
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Understanding of school facilities operations and relevant Workplace health and safety practices
  • Training experience required
  • High level of written and oral communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Able to undertake overnight travel and hold a current driver's licence
  • Hold a Blue Card
  • Provide proof of vaccinations
