About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced underwriters to support all tasks related to underwriting and administration. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting underwriters with renewal portfolio management, including pre-renewal notices and conducting research.
  • Serving as a first point of contact for the financial lines team and providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Maintaining policy documents across the full suite of products, including endorsements, cancellations, closings, and general policy processing.
  • Preparing monthly reports and assisting with credit control when required.
  • Developing relationships with internal stakeholders within AXA XL group, claims, actuary, and middle office.
  • Maintenance of online quoting portal and responding to new enquiries through the online quoting portal in line with business guidelines and appetite.
  • Ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and service standards.
  • Promoting a collaborative work culture with unwavering commitment to teamwork and team success.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recent experience in the insurance sector, preferably in underwriting or a related field.
  • An adaptable and flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
