Job Role Overview

The role of Porter forms a vital part of our guests' holiday experience, making the initial and final impressions on all valued visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome all resort guests and visitors in a friendly manner
  • Handle luggage efficiently and securely to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Transport luggage between the Porters storeroom and guests rooms effectively
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all transport vehicles for guests
  • Be aware of daily activities, special events, and VIP arrivals within the resort premises
Requirements and Expectations:
  • Hold an Open QLD manual driver licence
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Restricted Driver Authority (having held a driver licence for at least 3 years continuously)
  • Minimum 6-12 months experience as a Porter in a 4-5 Star Hotel or Resort
  • Exhibit impeccable presentation and effective communication skills
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to enhance guest experiences
  • Display self-motivation and a strong work ethic
  • Will to exceed guest expectations and provide premium service
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts including weekends
