Job Overview

As a senior leader, you will drive excellence in centre operations by leveraging your expertise and leadership skills. You will collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, foster respectful relationships with families, and engage with the local community.

  • Support the Centre Director to provide high-quality early learning and care.
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
  • Manage the centre in the Centre Director's absence.
  • Implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.
About Our Centre

We are a purpose-built centre in central Bendigo with 75 places. We embed the culture and values of the Djaara people into our curriculum and environments. We are highly engaged with families and local community through incursions and excursions.

Qualifications and Experience

You must have:

  • A Diploma of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved).
  • A current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one.
  • A current Police Check, or be willing to obtain one upon request.
  • Substantial experience as a Senior Educator or in a similar role.
