Gas Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Gas Service Technician to assist with commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of delivered gas control equipment on site.

  • Assemble and test gas control equipment and fuel gas skids in the workshop.
  • Check equipment and skids for accuracy, gas tightness and function using precision measuring instruments.
  • Provide product training and maintenance training for staff and customers as required.
  • Deliver high-quality customer support and after-sales service in line with industry standards.
  • Assist with sales activities including initiating sales development.
  • Provide technical support for tender processes and collaborate with the sales team.
  • Offer technical expertise including designing gas stations, selecting gas pressure regulators etc.
  • Conduct sizing calculations for gas-regulators, meters, and values using calculator tools.
  • Prepare quotations based on accurate pricing.
  • Manage orders using internal software for customers and purchase orders.
Requirements
  • A background in the gas sector in a similar role is mandatory.
  • Experience selling or servicing similar products is highly desired.
  • Excellent computer skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client interaction and new product training.
