As a skilled Fibrous Plasterer, you will be part of our dynamic team, working across various locations including Perth Metro and the South West.

To excel in this role, you must possess the following key skills:

  • Determine plasterboard layout and install insulation and vapour barriers
  • Measure, mark, cut, lift, position, and secure plasterboard to walls, ceilings, and battens
  • Prepare corner beads and secure them in place
  • Fix pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centers, and other plaster fittings
  • Cover joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, then smooth using wet brushes and sandpaper
  • Shape and straighten corners, angles, and wall and ceiling surfaces
  • Create decorative textures in finishing coats
