About the RoleAs a skilled and experienced Solid Plasterer, you will be responsible for determining plasterboard layout installing insulation and vapour barriers measuring marking and cutting plasterboard lifting and positioning plasterboard preparing corner beads and securing them fixing plaster and paper cornices panel mouldings ceiling centres covering joints and screw fixings with wet plaster and sealing compounds smoothing them using wet brushes and sandpaper.
Key Responsibilities- Determine plasterboard layout according to project requirements.
- Install insulation and vapour barriers as necessary.
- Measure mark and cut plasterboard accurately.
- Lift and position plasterboard safely.
- Prepare corner beads and secure them.
- Fix plaster and paper cornices.
- Install panel mouldings and ceiling centres.
- Cover joints and screw fixings with wet plaster and sealing compounds.
- Smooth surfaces using wet brushes and sandpaper.
- At least three years of prior relevant experience is essential.
- Must have own means of transport and a White Card.
