About the role

We are currently seeking a plasterer, with an interest in decorative plaster, to join our team on-site. The position can be full-time. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster, mixing products, washing tools, preparing jobs, taping, and sanding. The ability to work independently and efficiently is essential, as there will be instances where you will be entrusted to complete tasks on-site unsupervised.

Given our focus on high-end projects, meticulous attention to cleanliness is a prerequisite for this role.

A three month probation will be compensated via weekly upon receipt of an invoice. Please note that a formal invoice book is required for payment processing for the three months We are pleased to offer the potential for full-time employment after an initial period.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing surfaces by cleaning, patching, and applying primer or other materials as needed
  • Mixing plaster and applying it to walls using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Sanding and smoothing the plaster to create a flawless finish
  • Identifying and addressing any imperfections or issues with the plaster application
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas and tools
  • Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as painters and decorators, to ensure a seamless project completion
  • Trusted to be left on site and work in a timely manner

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as a Plasterer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work
  • Some knowledge of plaster application techniques, including mixing, applying, and finishing
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify and address any issues with the plaster finish
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A valid driver's licence reliable car and your own tools
