Production Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our team in Port Kembla, NSW.
About the RoleThis is a key position that requires strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate and support day-to-day operations through planning and coordination of feed and mill production. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to efficiently liaise with different internal teams to ensure orders are scheduled to reach valued customers on time.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule incoming customer orders for production
- Identify opportunities to consolidate orders within the production schedule to maximize efficiencies
- Maintain internal databases and provide reporting on scheduling and production KPIs
- Work with internal teams to resolve scheduling challenges
- Build and maintain collaborative internal relationships
- Relevant experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- High attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Competent computer knowledge and the ability to learn new systems
- A positive, inclusive work environment where we look out for each other's safety and wellbeing
