Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Product & Innovation team, you will play a critical role in driving product quality and capability.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in materials or chemical engineering, with experience working in a manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for supporting painted product quality through process improvements and ensuring product standards.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business improvements and manufacturing excellence. You will assess and analyze data to identify opportunities to enhance the performance of our painted products.

You will also contribute to a safe working environment by maintaining high standards of health and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support painted product quality through process improvements and ensuring product standards
  • Provide technical support on paint lines while striving for business improvements and manufacturing excellence
  • Assess and analyze data to identify opportunities to enhance the performance of our painted products
  • Work collaboratively within the manufacturing plant to ensure painted product quality
  • Contribute to a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in materials or chemical engineering
  • Experience working in a manufacturing industry – operational, process, or technical environment
  • A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others
  • Developed communication and influencing skills to build constructive and effective relationships
  • An ability to coordinate technical projects and work seamlessly with other departments to influence outcomes in a timely manner
