Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Program Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the training and development of our apprentices, working closely with internal stakeholders and our apprentices to ensure they receive the necessary training and support to become skilled tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the training and development of our apprentices, ensuring they meet the requirements of our internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with our internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure our apprentices are meeting their expectations.
  • Monitor the progress of our apprentices and provide regular feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions for our apprentices, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to become skilled tradespeople.
  • Ensure our business and individual branches are meeting all necessary compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of apprenticeship progress and completion.
  • Provide regular updates to our management team on the progress of our apprentices.
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection of new apprentices as required.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or detailed understanding of the VET sector.
  • Ability to travel interstate when required.
  • Experience in coordinating apprenticeships or similar training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience in the construction or engineering industries would be an advantage.
