Configuration Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to join our dynamic project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the configuration management of ICT systems in accordance with recognized standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to identify and define Configuration Items
  • Generate and maintain Configuration Item structures for Client's Products
  • Advise Product Teams and Executives on change management and version control
  • Conduct audits of configuration and technical data to support product releases
  • Compile technical data packages to baseline products as part of release processes
  • Support Product Teams with information management practices for technical data
  • Maintain Configuration and Technical Data Management policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Diploma in ICT or related discipline
  • Proficiency in contemporary ICT configuration management tools and databases
  • Experience with information management tools and repositories
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite of applications (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
  • Configuration management within software development environments
  • Configuration or information management within client organizations
Security Clearance:
  • Must be an Australian citizen with NV1 security clearance or higher

This is a mid-senior level contract position that falls under the category of Engineering and Information Technology. The ideal candidate will have experience working in IT Services, IT Consulting, Defense, and Space Manufacturing industries.
