Configuration and Data Management Specialist

About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration and Data Management Specialist to oversee the development, testing, and deployment of our systems and software. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining sound configuration management practices to ensure our projects meet the highest standards.
- Develop and implement configuration management strategies to support project requirements
- Establish and maintain configuration baselines and approved versions
- Identify, assign, and track configuration items using a configuration management database or CMS
- Employ configuration management tools to record, track, and monitor changes
- Lead and perform configuration verifications and audits, reporting configuration information
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in configuration management concepts and methodologies. You will work closely with our team to improve our CM process and tools by evaluating effectiveness and efficiency, implementing recommendations, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum five years of experience in configuration and data management
- Knowledge of ASDEFCONM suite of documents and CM tools
- Australian citizenship with active NV1 clearance
