Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Broadcast Systems Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting and maintaining broadcast systems, ensuring smooth operations across the infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of broadcast systems, audio engineering, and information technology.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other technology teams to ensure optimal performance.

  • Providing prompt technical support for broadcast systems.
  • Managing incidents via service delivery ticketing systems.
  • Assisting other broadcast technology teams as needed.
  • Maintaining studio cleanliness and reporting any equipment faults.
  • Ensuring the accurate playback of commercial material and reporting any discrepancies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with IT networking and audio over AoIP systems.
  • Hands-on experience with radio broadcast systems and troubleshooting, including radio telephone systems, radio playout systems, on-air audio systems, and audio distribution via codecs.
  • Strong understanding of radio outside broadcast systems and implementation.
  • Solid knowledge of audio engineering principles and techniques.
  • Understanding of electronics theory and repair skills.
  • Familiarity with Zetta and PhoneBox.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Qualification in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
